Golf Tournament and BBQ

We had our golf tournament at Country Meadows. Weather was perfect, and we had nine team of golfers and about 50 alumni and friends attended the sumptuous BBQ lunch. Nobody went home empty-handed. Lots of prizes were given out in our prize draws, and we crowned our ladies and men's longest drive and closest-to-the-pin trophy winners.

Chinese New Year Dinner

We had our Chinese New Year Dinner on March 1, 2008 at the Victoria Seafood Restaurant. It was a night filled with fun, games and prizes. We were very honoured to have Sister Joan Delaney with us. Sister was visiting from the US. We continued with our fund-raising effort for the Maryknoll Sisters. The silent auction brought in $362, with the items generously donated by Jennie Lee, Anita Poon, and Vermont Kerfoot. Another $395 was raised from the sale of luggage tags, reunion souvenir bags, mugs, and reusable environmental bags made by our talented Helen Leung.
