Toronto Chapter to host World Wide Reunion on August, 1-3, 2014

Letter from Sr. Jeanne Houlihan about the change of location and timing for the 8th WWR:

Dear Maryknollers,

During our 7th WWR celebration dinner on February 21, 2010, Maryknollers voted to have the next reunion in Vancouver. Unfortunately, they are not able to do this and asked the Toronto Chapter to take it. Toronto graciously replied "yes." To make the celebration more meaningful, the Toronto girls asked to co-celebrate their Chapter's 30th Anniversary and the WWR in 2014. I support their decision and know that you too will understand that circumstances have changed our original plans.

Maryknoll Sisters Film Project - "Trailblazers in Habits"
The alumni is supporting the film project produced by Fish Tail Soup Inc., Hong Kong. Nancy Tong (Yr of 71) is the producer. This film will focus on a few aspects, the Lives of the Maryknoll Sisters starting from the days when they arrive in Hong Kong in the 20's till the present date. Besides that, the film will intertwine other aspects, the social and political history of Hong Kong, focusing the Sisters' challenges in the Chinese culture but under the Bristish Ruling.More...
